Crossings is an undergraduate student academic journal that showcases the best student work from the Faculty of Arts. The journal follows a rigorous peer-review process and is published annually under the direction of the OASIS Vice-President Academic. We at OASIS are extremely fortunate to be part of such a dedicated and talented student body whose research and other creative pursuits comprise the core of what Crossings stands to represent: the ingenuity, critical thinking, and passion of the Arts’ Faculty. We would like to extend our thanks to the entirety of the Crossings team as well as the faculty who have supported us through every step of the process.

The 2021/2022 second volume of the Crossings Journal is now for sale.

Note from the Editor-in-Chief: Kael Kropp

“I have the distinct honour of welcoming you to our second volume of Crossings: An Undergraduate Arts Journal. We publish the best student work from across the fine arts, humanities, and social sciences in the Faculty of Arts at the University of Alberta. I have had the privilege of serving as this journal’s Editor-in-Chief for the past two years. During that time, I have seen firsthand the innovative research, literary criticism, and creative pursuits completed by Arts students, each contributing to our vibrant academic and artistic community.”
